TOO MUCH TO DO DURING LUNCH THIS WEEK! Spent Sunday with my parents.  Took Mom shopping to Kohl’s and TJ Maxx and then we went back, took a nap (actually, Dad napped, Mom and I just closed our eyes) then had dinner.

I made my Christmas list and should be able to get it done on my lunch hour over the next few days at Macy’s.  The nice thing about working near Herald Square is the ability to pop into Macy’s and get shopping done!  And Lord & Taylor’s is only a few blocks up on Fifth so that’s a good option too.

At work we’re going to answer a couple of letters to Santa; so we’ll each kick in $20 and go shopping - probably at Macy’s!

I haven’t written my cards yet but I am taking them to work with me so I can do them over my lunch hour (when I’m not shopping at Macy’s or Lord & Taylor that is).  I’m going to get my parents a small TV for the kitchen; maybe 15” or 17” inches; they’ve got a 13” but it’s really small so I’ll go to PC Richard over the weekend and pick one up for them.

Saturday afternoon when I was drying my hair I blew a fuse because I had the tv, computer, and hair dryer going.  So I reset the breaker and went on my merry way.

Sunday I got up to go to church and there was no hot water!  Popped that circuit breaker too.  That was a fast shower. 

Monday I got up to go to work and there was no hot water again!  Damn!  Didn’t I reset the breaker yesterday?  That was another fast shower.  I got home last night and the circuit breaker had popped - again! 

Well, I finally cottoned on to the fact that there’s a problem with the breaker.  So I called the super and he’s coming over tonight to take a look at it and, with luck, fix it. 

I can shower this morning in a tepid shower but I can’t wash my hair so I’ll have to get my hair washed and blown out at lunch time.  It’s okay enough for the morning but let’s be real here!

If Oscar can’t fix the electrical panel tonight, I guess I’ll have to schlep over to my parents for another few days.
